England Shock - The Gaffa goes Walkies

Everton Manager and England Center back Paul Carlisle Was sent of in the Last match of the recent Tour to Spain, Paul seen here being sent off for Everton kicked the Spanish center forward right up the adios amego. The Gaffa was shown a straight Red but not as red as Ray went. Paul had to do the walk of shame passed his fellow players and Explain to Kenny the England Captain his actions. England went on to win the match. Paul was not as bothered about being sent of as he was having to get a round in for the Squad.

Ref's window

Eddy advised the committee of the situation involving the window getting broken and that Ian Baker had not been in contact but the League Secretary and head Ref Andy Pownall has. It was agreed that we have no responsibilty for the ref's car but as an act of goodwill will have an collection to cover the ref's costs which we believe to be £50.00.

Stewards League

Eddy passed out minutes of the meeting held at Villa park on the 12th August, We agreed on what was said and to pay £100.00 towards the League for Trophy's, It was also suggested to comment to the league for a trophy for us as We won the League last Year but recieved nothing. To see the minutes go to the stewards league website.

Also our away games to Arsenal & Chelsea on October 7/8th. Cost is going to be around £45.00 based upon 16 players going, Eddy has asked for deposits of £25.00 asap. Full details to follow.

Stewards Tournament

The 2007 Tournament is to be held in Ispwich which will be a long trip so Its been suggested to look at staying 3 days cost of the trip is still being finalised but Eddy suggested its upto the lads how much it will cost them. A breakdown as follows......

Transport

1st Team Coach £850.00 (Est) / Mini Bus £300.00 (plus Petrol est £150)

Hotel

Enjoyfootball £85.00 - going on last few years prices

We can do it cheaper but maybe not in he same bracket and we are away from the rest of the group.

Tracksuits/Polo shirts

Tracksuit £13.00 polo Shirt £6.50 Est prices

Extras

Pennants, ect = £100.00

Looking at total cost to be in the region of £ 3.040 total, per player £152.00  (based on 20 people going)

We can do it cheaper that £152.00(Coach)/£132(mini bus) but it depends on what the lads think.

Season 2006/07

We have introduced a sign on fee of £10.00 and to date only one player has to pay, We were looking to get everyone a kit and run with squad numbers but due to the kit makers no longer doing the kit and a diffrent supplyer charging 22.50 per kit we will hold this off untill next season.

Eddy has introduced a new accounts system to ensure up to date information will be available at each match. The rule regarding players owing money is to be enforced starting 1/10/06 any player owing more that £5.00 will be suppended until the debt has been played. Bookings will be suspended for 14 days (from the day of booking) to allow player to pay it.

Club Officials say they are shocked they got their kit for Bluey the coach driver. Eddie said it was a hard time but for the good of the Stewards he would be available again and again and again.

Everton Ladies

Stewards play the ladies!

The Everton Stewards played the Everton ladies team as part of our pre-season warm up. The ladies team looked good and I would like to think we gave them a game with the stewards running out 6-4 winners. Goals from Tony Carlisle, Frazer Winrow, Kenny Wentergen and the goal machine Robert Breterton getting a hat-trick.

The ladies team played some great stuff and I feel they are worth a few bob on the Championship this year.
